Chrysler Bondholders May Be Ready to Settle

One of the most pressing obstacles in the way of a Chrysler rescue plan could be resolved, according to reports circulating in Detroit circles. But even if lenders agree to swap more than a third of Chrysler's debt for equity, other roadblocks could scuttle the automaker's bailout.
